8U Game #1

Away Team - Score:  Thunder – 4

Home Team - Score:  Biscuits – 5


Game Summary:  It came down to the last play with the Thunder on the wrong end of a 5-4 defeat to the Biscuits on Thursday. The game was tied at four with the Biscuits batting in the bottom of the sixth when Tycen singled, scoring one run.

The Thunder launched one home run on the day. Bentley Minick put one out in the first inning.  The Thunder totaled 13 hits in the game. Niegil M, Bryson C, Bentley M, and Connor L each racked up multiple hits for the Thunder. Niegil went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Thunder in hits.

The Biscuits scattered 15 hits in the game. Luke, Camden, Maddox, Jon, and Bradley all had multiple hits for the Biscuits. Luke led the Biscuits with three hits in three at bats.

Away Team - Score:  Sandlot Sluggers – 16

Home Team - Score:  Storm Chasers – 19


Game Summary:  The Storm Chasers and Sandlot Sluggers had a back and forth game on Thursday night. The Storm Chasers were able to put 9 runs on the board in the bottom of the first inning with Harrison Randall hitting a 2 RBI triple. Holden also went deep in the first inning with a 2 run home run.

In the second inning the hits kept coming with Holden Styron, Rylan Johnson, Keithan Higgins, Chance Wagner all getting extra base hits, but it was Harrison Randall who stole the show with a 3 run home run.

The Sandlot Sluggers were up by 2 runs at the start of the 3rd inning. Cayden Wilson started the inning off for the Storm Chasers by hitting a double. Garrett Givens was the hero of the 3rd inning by hitting a 3 run home run sealing the victory for the Storm Chasers.  The Storm Chasers tallied 27 hits on the night.

12U Game – Interleague Play with Laurens Little League

Away Team - Score:  Power – 17

Home Team - Score:  L3 Rail Riders – 6


Game Summary:  The Power weathered a push by the L3 Rail Riders in the third inning where they coughed up four runs, but the Power hung on 17-6 on Thursday. The Power notched nine runs in the fourth inning.  Luke G, Brayden S, Carson T, Daniel W, Landon P, and Jackson Hall drove in runs in the frame. Will Bice was on the pitcher's mound for the Power. He went two innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out three and walking one. Luke Godwin struck out 3 in the 4th to end the game. The Power saw the ball well today, racking up eight hits in the game.  Brayden, Jackson, and Luke all managed multiple hits for the Power
