With the Crushers down 4-2 in the 4th inning, Fenway Mundy delivered a key two out double, helping to score 5 runs in the bottom of the 4th to go ahead 7-4. Leland Reed pitched the last 4 1/3 innings for the win, striking out 11. With the win, the Crushers secured 1st place in the 10U Minors division.

Game Summary: The Senators were able to top the Thunder 6-4 in the last game of the season behind Maddox Moore's 12 strikeouts through 5-1/3 innings, with Christopher "Boogie" Smith getting the save in the last 2/3 inning. Moore pitched a perfect 3 innings before allowing a hit in the top of the 4th from Bennett Erickson of the Cubs. The Senators built a 5-0 lead through 3 innings but, the Thunder were able to score 2 in the 4th and 2 in the 6th before the Senators closed the deal in the top of the 6th with a great defensive stop by Bryce Seaborn on a shot to 1st (his second great play of the game).

Game Summary: Outstanding pitching performances from the Cubs’ John Aiden Helms and the Iron Birds’ Evan Avery kept fans glued to the game. The Cubs scored one run in the top of the 4th inning when Kade Heaton scored on a passed ball, and again in the top of the 5th inning as Ryan Stone crossed the plate to give the Cubs a 2-0 lead. The Iron Birds threatened in the bottom of the 6th, but could only plate one run as Alan Michael Shay scored. John Aiden Helms struck out 15 over 5 1/3 innings and Evan Avery struck out 11.
